Terms

What you are buying, what you promise us, what we promise you, and what we will refuse to do even if you ask.

1. What this is

A publicity and reputation service delivered by AI agents under the approval of named humans. You buy a plan; the plan says what is included. The software is ours; the outputs approved for you are yours.

2. Plans, billing and cancellation

Monthly by default, billed in advance. Annual plans are two months free, billed up front. Debut, Buzz and Headline have no minimum term; cancel from settings and it ends at the close of the paid month. Situation Room has a three-month minimum. Plan changes: up any time, prorated; down at the next billing date. The prices are on the price list, all of them.

3. Money-back and service credits

Thirty-day money-back on your first month of Debut, Buzz or Headline. Activity SLA: if we miss your plan's pitch volume or response times in a month, that month is credited. Ninety-day coverage credit on Headline and above: no earned placement in the first ninety days means month four at half price. Pass-through fees (wires, award entries) are not refundable once paid to the third party.

4. Pass-through costs

Wire distribution and award entries are charged at the third party's price plus 15%, shown as two lines on the invoice and approved by you before we incur them.

5. What you warrant

That the facts you give us are true and you have the right to use every quote, image, name and document you provide; that you will tell us if you are a listed company or subject to sector rules; that you will not ask us to do anything on the refusal list.

6. What we will refuse

Fake, incentivised, gated or suppressed reviews;1 undisclosed endorsements;2 sock puppets and front groups; direct Wikipedia edits;3 deepfakes of real people; political synthetic media; blasts; pay-to-play presented as earned; anything that breaks the Journalist Promise. We may pause any campaign that fails our guardrails, and we will tell you why within one business day.

7. Approval and responsibility

Nothing external is sent without a named human approval, which may be yours. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you approve; we are responsible for the process, the limits and the sourcing. Approvals expire after 72 hours.

8. Your mailbox

If you connect a mailbox, we send only approved messages from it, under the limits in the Journalist Promise, and you can disconnect it at any time.

9. Material non-public information

If you are listed, the MNPI addendum applies: content touching earnings, deals, guidance, leadership, litigation or regulatory action is locked until your IR or legal contact approves, and is never offered as an exclusive.4

10. Data

Our privacy policy and, for your customers' and contacts' data, our data processing agreement (available on request; incorporated for Situation Room). Your canon and your chapters are exportable for 90 days after you leave.

11. Intellectual property

Approved outputs are yours on payment. Our agents, prompts, models, templates and the desk itself are ours. We may describe the work in aggregate and anonymised; we will not name you as a client without written permission.

12. No guarantee of coverage

We do not and cannot guarantee any placement, citation or outcome, and we do not sell paid placements as earned.5 The guarantees in section 3 are the only ones.

13. Liability

Indemnities run both ways: you for false facts you supplied; us for breaches of the process and limits we publish. The caps and exclusions are being settled with counsel and will be published in this section, with their date, before the first paid month is billed. Until then this section reads not yet, on purpose, rather than a number nobody has checked.

14. Ending things

Either side can end for material breach with notice. On termination we return or delete your content per the retention schedule.

16. Changes

Thirty days' notice by email for anything material; every version archived.
