Prices on the page

Month to month. No six-month lock-in. No "scope" email in month three. Wire fees shown at cost plus 15%, not buried in "distribution". For the whole page, one anchor: a boutique agency charges $3,000 to $10,000 a month for two to four pitches.1

Which plan? Two questions.

How many people are worth quoting?
Have you already had a bad week in the press?

Wire fees, shown

Agencies bury wire fees inside "distribution" and mark them up in the dark. We show the wire's own price and our 15% handling on the same line. You pick the wire. Their prices are theirs and change; this table updates when they do.7 Last checked 22 September 2026.56

Wire fees, shown
WireWire's priceOur handling (15%)What you pay
EIN Presswire, single release$149$22$171

PR Newswire, 600 words with photo~$1,620 plus $195 annual membership~$272~$2,087

One EIN Presswire-class release a month is already included on Buzz and above. A wire is a delivery mechanism, not coverage; we will tell you when you do not need one.

Annual: pay for ten, get twelve

Two months free on Debut, Buzz and Headline. Not on Situation Room, which already carries a minimum. Monthly stays the default because the absence of a lock-in is the point.

We will never guarantee a headline. Anyone who does is selling ads.

A guaranteed placement is, by definition, a paid one, and a paid one has to be labelled as advertising, and the AI engines weigh it accordingly. So we guarantee the things we control.8

We will never guarantee a headline. Anyone who does is selling ads.
GuaranteeWhat it means
30-day money-backCancel in your first month on Debut, Buzz or Headline and we refund it. No form, no call.
Activity SLAIf we miss your plan's pitch volume or its response times in a month, that month is free.
90-day coverage creditOn Headline and above: if nothing earned runs in your first ninety days, month four is half price.
No pay-to-play, everIf a placement is paid, it is labelled. We do not sell you "guaranteed" coverage from a contributor network and call it press.

Against a retainer

A freelance publicist: $1,500 to $3,500 a month, one or two releases, a monthly call. A boutique agency: $3,000 to $10,000, two to four pitches, a four-to-six-month minimum, wire fees on top, juniors doing the work after the senior did the pitch. Buzz is $2,000, 35 pitches, one wire release included, a named lead on every send, and you can leave next month. We would rather earn month seven than contract for it.213

What is never on the invoice

  • Pay-to-play placements
  • Fake or incentivised reviews
  • Bought followers
  • Undisclosed Wikipedia edits
  • Blasts
  • A six-month minimum on anything below Situation Room
  • Hidden wire markups
  • A "scope" conversation in month three

Pricing FAQ

What counts as a pitch?
One email, to one named journalist, about one angle, personalised to something they wrote, with one follow-up three or more days later. A follow-up is not a second pitch. A blast is not a pitch, and we cannot send one; the system refuses more than 25 near-identical bodies.
What happens if you miss the numbers?
That month is free. The activity SLA covers your plan's pitch volume and its response times. It does not cover coverage, because we cannot control an editor, and we will not pretend to.
What is in the wire pass-through?
The wire's list price plus 15% for handling: formatting, compliance check, upload, and the receipt in your chapter. It is shown in the table above and on every invoice as two lines. If you would rather buy the wire yourself, do; we will still write the release.
Can I change plans mid-month?
Up, any time, prorated from that day. Down, from the next billing date. Cancel from settings; it takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and your chapters and canon stay exportable for ninety days.
Why does Situation Room have a minimum?
Because a 30-minute acknowledgement at 3am means a person is awake at 3am. We hire and roster for it, and we cannot do that a month at a time.
Does the money-back cover everything?
Your first month's plan fee on Debut, Buzz or Headline, in full, if you cancel within thirty days. Wire fees already paid to a wire and award entry fees already paid to an awards body are pass-throughs and are not refundable, because they left the building.
